What the heck are you doing to my world view, dobermann? I was hoping that I'd get a perfect string of '0 comments' and you go and blow it almost immediately.

Weeks after our son died, my wife is talking about adopting.
I tell her I don't even want to think about it.
Now months later, she's up to two adoptees.
She thinks she can get a volume discount.
I'm reeling.

Can I go back to sleep now?

Here's what leaked out today. I updated my links. They're over there, to the left.

I have this idea that I will place all the links I check out on a daily (and sometimes weekly) basis. That way I can check them out whereever I go, and never miss another Dilbert again.

There are some that are strange, and some that are funny, and some that are boring to you, but not to me.

If anyone reads this blog, they could suggest some, and if I like them, I will add them.

If no one reads this blog, then at least it will be useful to me. And in the grand scheme of things, that's probably more important.

And now to introduce a new feature of these leaky posts, I will now add a link to a random blog (like hitting that button, nd why the frap did it blow up so big?)

Although I will editorialize a little, and post the first thing that at least partially catches my interest. Here goes:

Today was a strange one. On the bad side it was an anniversary day that I would rather not have celebrated. One year ago today, my son was diagnosed with brain cancer. He died 8 months and a day later. We're still dealing with that. Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. A very nasty piece of work.

On the better side, some of my finances may be getting better. Took a hit (and continue to do so) financially. Waiting for someone to buy my house.

But I still have to go home and do the morose thing with my wife. That, I am not looking forward to doing.

Welcome. Somehow I created 5 different blogs, and hopefully I have deleted them all but the one I wanted.
